Owner interviews · 30 minutes, no pitch
Tell us what selling a business is really like.
We’re building BizTender, a platform that lets owners run their own sale instead of handing a six figure commission to a broker. Before we build more of it, we want to talk to people who have lived the process. If you’ve sold a business, tried to sell one, or are starting to think about it, we’d like 30 minutes of your time.
Why we’re asking
A platform like this only earns its keep if it solves problems owners have actually had, not the ones we imagine from the outside. So before we commit the next year of building, we’re validating every piece of it in conversations with real sellers, real owners, and real buyers. What you tell us decides what gets built first and what gets cut.
What a conversation looks like
Thirty minutes on a call, scheduled around your day. We’ll ask what happened when you sold or started down that road: where the hours went, what the fees felt like, what you wish someone had told you earlier. There is nothing to prepare and nothing being sold. What you share stays private unless you tell us otherwise.
Who we want to hear from
Owners who have sold. Owners who started a sale and pulled back. Owners a few years out who are beginning to plan. And buyers who have sat on the other side of the table. Each of those stories teaches us something the others can’t, and every one of them makes the road easier for the next entrepreneur who takes it.
Thinking about selling in the next year?
We’re onboarding ten founding sellers to run their sale on an early version of the platform, free for the first six months, in exchange for honest feedback and case study use. It starts with a conversation with an advisor, then a guided intake. If that sounds like you, check the box in the form below and we’ll cover it on the same call.
